The Acorn Room - 9 months to 2 years (adult to child ratio 1:3)
A room designed specifically for up to 9 little ones where your child will have the opportunity to interact with the world around them, explore, discover and try out new things. Sensory, exploratory and active play allowing them to develop a positive sense of their own identity. Routines are structured but flexible and take into account children's natural rhythms and routines. The children have the opportunity to build up close relationships with our caring and consistent team.
There is a designated sleeping area with cots where children can sleep with individual bedding.
Typical Daily Routines 9 months to 2 years
Morning and afternoon sessions follow a similar routine. Times are approximate and flexible.
8am Early session breakfast provided for children during this session
9.00am Welcome/Base Rooms Children have free flow access to experiences on offer
9.30am Hello/storytime–(babies have snack at this time). Children come together for a group welcome and story.
9.40am Garden
10.30am Snack
10.45am Freeflow/nappy change time. Children have freeflow access to experiences on offer.
11.45am Singing
12.00am Lunch
Afternoon session follows a similar routine
